| Cafe at the Rylands The café is located in the magnificent John Rylands Library on Deansgate, which houses one of the world's finest collections of rare books and manuscripts. The café has been described as one of the most pleasant cafés in the city. You will find a menu that is very different to anything offered in the area. Locally sourced cheese, pies and tarts, locally baked bread, locally produced preserves and pickles, fresh salads with local seafood and Goosnargh chicken and delicious open sandwiches as well as traditional afternoon tea.
