| Wagamama |
Things are a little different at this Asian inspired noodle restaurant. The seating is canteen style, with long benches that are frequently tightly packed with diners. In addition, all orders are entered on an electronic hand held pc by the waiters and sent straight through to the kitchen in order to speed up the ordering process. Key to Wagamama’s menu is ramen – Chinese-style thread noodles, served in soups with toppings or griddle-cooked (teppan-fried) meat. This offers the perfect fast food; a nutritionally complete meal in a bowl. Other signature dishes include rice based options as well as salads and desserts. These can be accompanied by freshly squeezed juices – a firm and healthy favourite – wine or Japanese beers. For the hungry, a variety of side dishes are available including meat and vegetable dumplings, skewered chicken, deep-fried prawns as well as raw salads. Wagamama also offers a children’s menu with high chairs, kids chopsticks and colouring books adding to their visit. There is also a dedicated area for kids on the Wagamama website.
